Details
Perlin noise provides a smooth, "cloud-like" randomness that is perfect for organic shapes like terrain elevation, forest density, or cave distributions.
Parameters
- Frequency: Controls the scale of the noise. Higher values result in more frequent, smaller features.
- Amplitude: Scales the output values.
- Offset: Shifts the noise pattern in 2D space.
- Octaves: The number of layers of noise to combine. More octaves add finer detail but increase computation time.
- Seed Offset: A local variation added to the global seed to ensure this node produces a unique pattern.
