Simplex Noise
The Modern Standard. A more computationally efficient and visually balanced alternative to Perlin noise with fewer directional artifacts.

Details
Simplex noise is generally preferred for large-scale maps as it avoids the "grid-like" artifacts sometimes seen in standard Perlin noise.
Parameters
- Frequency: Controls the scale of the noise.
- Amplitude: Scales the output values.
- Offset: Shifts the noise pattern in 2D space.
